  • About CT_RaidAssist
  •

In short, CT_RaidAssist reports hp, mana, buffs, and debuffs of anyone or everyone in your raid. You can set it to notify when someone is debuffed with specified types as well as notify when buffs you can recast fade. We've added 5 'MT Target' options which allow you to specify up to 5 MainTanks's which users can then select which 1-5 they want to show. When shown, it will show you the target of the person set as MT. It's a bit similar to EQ's Target's Target function though with this, the tank doesn't even have to be your target. We've set it to allow key binding for recasts on notification, so it will say 'player' has been debuffed by 'debuff name', press 'key' to cure. It queues debuffs so you can press the same key x times and cure x people.

You can sort the groups by group, class, or custom sort, and show as many or as few groups as you like. Each group is movable and colors are customizable so you can customize it to your liking. Another addition is the ability to use /rs alerts, which send an on screen alert to everyone using the mod. '/rs Move to me!' would show: 'TS: Move to me!' in user-specified color in the middle of the screen for example. The best way to fully see what it's capable of is to actually see it in use.

We'd like to thank all of the guilds who helped us test the mod out over the past week, and we hope everyone finds this mod useful.

NOTE: You can find all the features at the page dedicated to CT_RaidAssist, http://www.ctmod.net/raidassist.ct

    use X-perl, play with the configuration (reset always possible) and all the things u changed can be saved for each character. better view on raids and party.

    ct raid assist is blocking other addons of me, no good!

    If you like CT_raid. but want more including Range check go with Xperl. It's what i uses. it gives you alot more customize opions when it comes to interface and it gives you much more then ct raider would. such as MT list. CT_raider only gives you 5 slots, Xperl give you 10. it takes a little getting use to but you can scale it down to your liking. On my healer i have it pretty much fully open to show me everything going on. where on my huntard i just have the basics.

    It's a real Pitty that the range check has been removed.

    Kinda Useless in battlefields now.

    i really don't wanna use it since it feels a bit out of date...i'm going for xperl instead atm, even though it's feels like a damn setupjungle compared to CT, since I jsut want it for raids

    If any1 else is having problems with RaidAssists menu disappearing and not being able to access it, what you can do is move your WTF folder out of the WoW folder,

    then log back into WoW with Raidassist installed, then logback out..and go into your WTF/Account/AccountName/SavedVariables/ and transfer the CT_RaidAssist.lua and CT_RaidAssist.lua.bak file.

    into your old WTF folders location. then replace your WTF folder in your WoW Folder.

    HI,

    CT Buff mod is causing bugs in the log. "Select All" message ... I think all the warnings that should be written in the log cause errors.

    Drak

    whoa.
    this addon has some *serious* taint issues...
    5 minutes of AV with /console taintlog 1 enabled, and I got bombed out of the game with 55 meg taintlog spam, had to relog _twice_ with ctra disabled to get into the game again without getting instantly disconnected.

    plus, ctra is hideously slow... causes horrible lag spikes every time someone enters/leaves raid...

    So i accidentally deleted the CT raid mini map button and now i can't get it back. Is there some kind of command prompt i can type in to bring up the ct raid configuration menu?

  • Nov. 14, 2007, 07:47AM (8 months, 2 weeks ago)

    Not sure if this problem was addressed. My CTRaid tab overwrites my Raid tab. Can't access my raid window at all. I have reinstalled ctraid assist several times with no success. Can anyone help me with this please?

    hi, i'm healing with an addon called "Clique". so for example i only have to click on an raidmember shown by CT_raidassist to cast for example a flash heal. but especially in 25er raids when some party members are out of range and need some heal i click on them useless because they're not in range. is it possible to color up the CT_raidassist partymembers that arent in range?
    there is an option within the emergeny monitor to "show only in healing range", but i'd like to abandon the emergency monitor and do healing just further by clicking on the party members.

    thx for help

    not sure if this has been pointed out, but in the raidstatus window you are unable to add paladins to the list for mana or health. this has been broken for awhile. i am guessing if your playing on the ally side you are unable to add shaman.

    i have done clean installs of the mod and completely removed SavedVariables for this mod and no luck.

    -----
    just did a quickfix for this until its patched in. if you go into your C:\Program Files\World of Warcraft\WTF\Account\XXXXXX\SavedVariables\ and edit the file CT_RaidAssist.lua you can simply add the below line to have shaman or paladin show up on the raidstatus window. search for "StatusMeters" and you should see the area for the setting for your raid stats window.

    ["Paladin"] = true,
    or
    ["Shaman"] = true,
