I downloaded Geist from Curse, and it is in my interface/addons folder, but when i log into wow, it doesn't show up in my addons...why not?

I don't know what causes this, but I'm pretty sure it's not Geist. A friend of mine was having a similar problem with Bartender4. After some time it just starting working.

  • Mhhh, obviously nobody is missing the feature to hold the Geist window in place (previously by holding and releasing shift key/ binding key) Is this feature still active or is there another way to achieve it?

The "feature" (which was really just a bug I never fixed) isn't around in the old way. The new method, which I will probably add a keybind for at some point, is to type "/script GeistHeader:Show()" in the edit box. This will open Geist wherever it was last opened at normally. You can close it again with a "GeistHeader:Hide()" instead of show, or by hitting the normal button for it.
