I've just had a play with this mod and had the same problem as "Ishidoro" with the Moonkin form. However, I think I've managed to find a way to change the button ID's. I've manually modified the "FancyBarButton.lau" file. As far as I can tell this file sets the button ID's. The file contains 3 entries set to "108", which looks like the current starting point for the ID's e.g "local action = 108 + i;" . What I did is change the "108" values to "24". This matched the FancyBar buttons to the WoW Action Bar 3 (which I had mostly empty so could then map funtions onto the FancyBar). I would guess that setting this values in multiples of 12 would map it to different WoW Action Bars (e.g. 0 would be Action Bar 1, 12 would be Action Bar 2 etc). You may be able to just set the value to a high number so that it doesn't clash with any other bar, thus giving you a whole new set of buttons to play with, but I haven't tried this yet. Might be worth a play....????

Update: Just tried to use a higher value for the base starting button and I couldn't use the buttons. So it looks like you can only modify the base button value so that it maps to existing WoW Action Bars.

So, i look around for extra buttons. and oh boy how glad i am over this one.

and BANG Moonkin issues!:P Im not sure when it happened but moonkin form now has a bar of its own just like cat-bear forms, and this bar SHARES the exact same one that fancybar is utilizing. So when ever im in moonkin form im limited to what the fancybar already shows me....

If there were a way to like...disable the fact that moonkins change bars when shapeshifted...or use a different bar?=/ i dunno your the experts. i would love to use this addons, but cant due to this.

  • Ok once i put an icon on the bar, how do i take it off? i can't clear the damned buttons!

edit: ok i unlocked the action bars in the interface menu and now i can move the buttons around. Before shift moving them wasn't working, like it does on the regular action bars, which was throwing me off. Dunno why it does it this way, but idc now.

I Bind Ctrl+1 To toggle on/off the bar But It doesn't work in combat... It's my problem or addon's?

  • This is awesome! One request though..

Is it possible to either add a second 12 button bar, or have a few more button on the one fancy bar?

  • I have noticed that too, thank you... However, what happens if Blizzard releases a new version that mekes the addons uncompatible?

This addon works in 2.10. Just enable out of date addons.

  • Is there any update for that very useful addon to support version 2.0.10?

    how do u move them??

  • I love this addon! Each time I log on, however, it doesn't remember that I changed the offset from 170 to 120. I have to type

    /fbar offset 120

every time I log on. Is there a way to fix this?

@Slinx: If you want replace the standard Blizzard Bars maybe this addon isn't the best choice. This is more a expansions than a replacement :)

@Elnarfim: I really hope you'll support this great addon further a very long time, cause with all the "new-style" replacing bar-mods, such great expansions for the original frames are very rare. I love it :)
