This mod assists the fisherman by making it easy to cast, and easy to switch to the fishing poles and back. When a fishing pole is equipped, right clicking will cause the player to cast their line. Also it can put a lure on your pole if it doesn't already have one, and you have one in your bags.
I've completly revamped TackleBox's code base. Brining some improvements to efficiency, making it more compatible across languages, and I've added a new option, to make it so you have to hold Alt, Ctrl, or Shift to cast, if you want.
Also, variables are stored/loaded on a per realm, per character basis now
And I wanna give some thanks to a couple of people who have contributed to this mod recently:
Sinaloit: Origional use of textures to determine fishing skill and equipment
Aalny: Origional use of ItemLink's to store/recognize equipment. As well as a few tweaks and fixes. Oh and the Shift click option. Aalny did a fair amount of good work.

Danemo saidwill broke fast/easy cast (the only functions i use :( i hate the buggy macro) the error is about it uses a function that can be used by blizzard ui only.. or something like this :/ appears whenever you rightclick, /tb off won't help

silvermist saidExperienced the same issues as those above with 1.10.1 - I am unable to talk to NPCs (vendors, bankers, flight masters), interact with mailboxes, click on objects to interact with them (such as the fire runes in MC), and am unable to loot.

springzor saidI have a problem that whenever i switch to my fishinrod with Tackle Box and then wanna rightclick to cast, the rightclick function gets stuck. After this i cant even see my mouse cursor anymore. I know that the rightclick function gets locked because when i leftclick, i start walking forward. Does anybody else have this problem? If so, can it be fixed or do I need to wait for a update of the addon?

Hors quand je desactive tackle box tout fonctionne bien. une idee d ou peux venir le probleme ?
Hello sorry for my bad english but i hope to understand me. I have a strange probleme with tackle box, i have the Nat Pagle's Fish Terminator ( h//ttp:www.thottbot.com/?i=51877 ) when i equip it, i can't loot killed mob, can't check my mailbox, can't talk with pnj... I see the error message " you must equip Fishing Pole ". BUT when i desable tackle box all work fine. please help me

Mugendai saidSorry it took so long to update, just that I've been working on a new more feature rich MCom, and the 1.9 updates were dependant apon it, and I didn't wanna release till I found it stable enough.
FYI, if anyone has any problems with the Macros and would like to work with me on fixing it, please email me, thanks.

Feaval saidI also have a problem with macros and Tacklebox since 1.8. I'm using the English version, not the German one. I've installed Tacklebox 1.46 only, not Cosmos.
What happens is that everytime I want to create a macro, it will recreate the TB macro and remove what I have. I have disabled the macro option in TB but even then, it will override the macro I'm creating as soon as I created one and I'll need to create again. Then as soon as I log, it completely erases my macros. It doesn't seem to matter if I disable the macro or not with /tb macro, it will cause problems anyway.
I don't need and don't want the tb macro, but I do love the addon, it's quite nice to have and saves a lot of time. But now I have to disable the addon completely to be able to create macros without losing them all the time and if I create a few macros, I'm afraid that when I enable TB again, I will lose all the ones I did.
I think that the cleanup code you added is trying to cleanup the macros even if macros are off in TB, which would probably be better if it didn't.
Beside that small problem, great job on the addon.

ThorsLiebling saidI use a German version of WoW. My tackle box runs together with the neat little addon "Fishing Buddy". And I also have a makro-problem, but a little bit different. Since 1800 all my makros are gone. But I only rewrote the one for tacklebox - /tb switch. Everytime I log in, my icon for the makro is gone and also the makro itself. I then have to write the makro again and I also have to add the icon again to my action bar. This also occurs if I log out of the realm for just a minute or two, even though WoW is still running and even though I don't log out of WoW. Does anybody have the same problem? I can't believe, that this could just be a problem, that exists with the German client.
