User-Interface: Heart of the Wild Contains a unique Druid feel and style with both a Nightelf and Tauren colour-scheme, that will edit your unitframes and add artwork done by me.

About: This is my baby that I've been working on the longest and is and should be a complete pack for anyone to download (find more info at link and of course inside the pack in the ReadMe). However, currently the pack has only been modified for 1600x1200, 800x600 and 1280x1024 resolution gamers with 0.64 UI-scale. P.S I won't be able to do any odd resolution, like widescreen, as I need to have a widescreen monitor myself in order to even start configuring things correctly. This is not considered a great widescreen UI-pack. I will not fold from requests for making this a widescreen UI.

Features new unitframes, casting bars for both focus, target, party and target of target and of course the artwork. Contains a lot of other miscellaneous addons that I added however you can choose between a Lightweight version (contains the necessities to make it look like the pictures) and then the Thorough version (which has plenty of other stuff)

This will require some knowledge like how to read a ReadMe-file or already know how the WTF + Interface packs work.

Misc: Original thread which I first started releasing my works:

Contains some other stuff like wallpapers so I suggest you could take a peek.

Not yet released but artwork have been finished for over half a year by now ^^;

i was able to use this UI fine except i didnt like that everything was smaller
i could barely even read my friends list

Yeah, preference of mine but could be a nuisance for others.
You can however adjust it yourself but it's a bit of work.
I just don't like the hugely bloated windows, so I downscaled so I can see more of the gamescreen while having just my character panel up for example.

can i know how to adjust it

Looks very clean, I like it! I have a wide screen LCD however so I will never be able to use it. QQ

Great job on the aesthetics though! 5/5

Well I'm getting a new laptop for the gaming-design university that I got accepted for this autumn, and I think I'll be seeing it with a widescreen monitor.
Yes I am that egoistic that I only work on the mods for myself, just have so many balls in the air atm that I can't spend all that time working for those I share it with too >_<

typed /kgpanels config and the addon popped up however their was no profiles already set in the addon the HotWSwift<Theme of choice> either one of them. The profiles available were None. Any help would be appreciated. Also i read your Thoughrough guide all the way through. Also, i don't see the wings on my screen. I have the resolution set at 1280x1024 and the UI set at .64 yet don't see the wings but i do see the middle portrait.

Make sure you've installed the WTF folder correctly.
Name it correctly. And be sure to put all the files where they're supposed to be.

This is my placement for example:
    "World of Warcraft\WTF\Account\MACSWE\Balnazzar\Ronco\SavedVariables\DiscordUnitframes.lua"

    It's not supposed to be:
    "World of Warcraft\WTF\Account\YOURACCOUNTNAMEHERE\Your Server Name\YourCharacterName\SavedVariables\DiscordUnitframes.lua"
'cause then it will fail. This also goes for the other chunk of data folder:

    "World of Warcraft\WTF\Account\MACSWE\SavedVariables\kgPanels.lua"

Many people don't realize that... and in all the cases someone added me on MSN to ask for help... <this> was their problem.

I like the unit frames of this addon, and would like to add just those to my interface. Is there anyway to do this without having my picture in the bottom center of the screen?

  • July 29, 2008, 09:08AM (3 weeks, 1 day ago)

Uhm, yeah sure it is, but you need to configure it yourself.
Type '/duf' when you have the addon called 'DiscordUnitframes Config' (not too sure exactly its name but you get the point)... then go to "Player" I think it was in the tabs of the upper right corner, go to the left and locate "Portrait" and somewhere there you should find in the config options that appeared in the big space which stretches to the lower right a "Hide" and tick that.

Anyway, it's possible so you have to do this yourself, it's not that hard.

Exactly what do i have to extract from the HotW UI to my interface and WTF folders for this to work? Ive tried just adding the Discord folders, and the discord.lua found in the WTF folder, but the profile i need to load isnt there. Email me at aegywnn@gmail.com if you dont wanna post this in the comments

    This is VERY nice !
To bad there aint skinned around the minimap and made some nice graphics for the action bars =(

  • July 28, 2008, 01:45PM (3 weeks, 2 days ago)

I have added CyCircled into the pack so that should take care of the actionbars not looking funky enough for you all. And I haven't really thought about the minimap but honestly it might be a bit too much clutter on the screen if I did do some artwork, but I can try and make something? We'll see... a bit busy but I can be willing to start doing some modifications to the pack again if I have time.

    *cross fingers*

  • July 27, 2008, 09:17PM (3 weeks, 2 days ago)

Hey, it looks really nice but I'm having a problem! The ReadMe says to type in /kgpanels config or something like that but when I do, it doesn't seem to want me to enter it? I hit enter and it just sits there =/ It also looks likt the wings are a tad bit low

  • July 28, 2008, 01:47PM (3 weeks, 2 days ago)

Well /kgpanels config worked when I did it, you might wanna look up the official notes on the addon by searching for it on Google.
Secondly, the wings are a tad bit low for you if you a.) does not have a matching resolution on your screen, b.) have not set the UI-scale to 0.64
If it's some reason besides that (and you're positively sure it is so) then I'd like some more elaboration on the problem.
