WoW AddOn Author Survey

Posted Sep 17, 2008 by KarlKFI

There's a research study being done on WoW AddOn Authors: http://karlkfi.wufoo.com/forms/wow-addon-author-survey/

It will look at the electronic communication methods and tools that they use and prefer when receiving feedback and bug reports from their users. When its finished it should provide an interesting report on the available tools, which is most preferred and how you can benefit from each type, not to mention some nifty demographics graphs.

Head over to the survey and take it!

This is the same survey as the one on WoWI, so if you answered on one, don't answer on the other ;)

When the survey was finished, it did not report anything to me. What link can I go to for the graphs or results?

Meanwhile, clicking link did not work because the curse website went dim and never continued. So I copied/pasted link manually, http://karlkfi.wufoo.com/forms/wow-addon-author-survey

Question "How many AddOns have you written or worked on but no longer support or maintain?" is missing a zero option (ie, I haven't abandoned any of my addons). Left unanswered instead.

Recommend adding a verification step to reduce distortion due to multiple surveys/bots, etc.
