Yes! The site is undergoing some updates

Posted Sep 17, 2008 by Nimloth

Just now we are in the process of putting live our new wiki code parser. We have gone from using the Trac Wiki syntaxing to the more popular MediaWiki syntaxing system, and while we are running conversion scripts on our database, this will take some time so some news posts and wiki pages may display strangely until we are done updating.

At the same note, feel free to list any direct bugs/server errors in commentry below!

I updated our project: Most Wanted Raidpack and the newest files don't show up. I don't know if it has anything to do with your updates. If that#s the case please take a look...

    Thanks

The link http://www-en.curse-gaming.com/files/details/4204/klhthreatmeter/ gives a "500 Server Error" Where the link http://wow-en.curse-gaming.com/files/details/4204/klhthreatmeter/ takes me to the correct page. For downloading WoW Addons www-en is getting kicked back, but wow-en works okay.

I like what you're doing here :) Nice work Curse!

There seems to be an issue with the downloadcounters in the addon section. Apparently they appear correctly for the latest download, but any downloads before that show as very low numbers.

I'm looking forward testing your new wiki code parser out.

    @Nimloth

    1. THE JS/AJAX TOOLTIPS:
    • Use the tooltips at the favorite section (http://wow-en.curse-gaming.com/favorites/).

    1. CSS/LAYOUT
    • The classes "btn_x" (ex. btn_bar) doesn't look Curse-Gaming like at all. The gradient looks like it's a bad GIF picture.
    • Fix the <select> on top of the page or make the height of the bar a bit.

    1. THE JS/AJAX IMAGE VIEWER
    • Use your JS/Ajax image viewer (Thickbox mod?) in your image gallery. For example on: http://wow-en.curse-gaming.com/gallery/screenshots/
    • Implement a previous/next feature (buttons and keystrokes). Thickbox, Lightbox (and so on) got it. It would be very nifty to use to fast broswe trough a gallery or the screenshots for a addon.

I could go on, but perhaps it's a bit OT?

item database search on vanguard is very buggy, searching for items with two stat filters for example

instead of listing items with both str >= 1 and vit >=1 it yields results with both str >=1 OR + AND vit>=1, isntead of only AND

and you have to search with exact prefixes, if you search Iron Pickaxe you don't find Pristine Iron Pickaxe.

For the item specific search it will search for anything that contains iron pickaxe, its only the general search which does not

What procedure can I use to start formatting the project descriptions rather than wait for the conversion scripts to parse? My descriptions in all projects strip the carriage returns everywhere and also no longer use bullets when starting lines with dashes. Thanks.

asterisk space text still does bulletpoints

    inserting
    does a linebreak for you.
