"Mana Potion" Energy Drink

Posted Sep 17, 2008 by Indelible

Most of us have encountered Mana Potions in the World of Warcraft that allow you some slack when entering into those long boss fights or duels but there's never been an irl Mana Potion!

Enter the energy drink craze! You're sure to have heard of Red Bull and Relentless, which are banned in some countries around the world due to their questionable impact upon your health and now they have a World of Warcraft themed competitor - The Mana Energy Potion.

The Mana Energy Potion

The drink, which is conviniently cashing in on the WoW craze that has the MMO world well and truly grasped, is granted to do at least one of two things. Firstly, it will allow you to PvP to your hearts content, racking up that honor as you sit in your chair... vibrating. Secondly, it will... well... how do I put this nicely?... It will most probably kill you. Coming in at a light-weight 40cl, one bottle of this stuff is the equivalent to a whopping FOUR cups of coffee or two full cans of Red Bull!

This drink is bound to sell well despite the obvious health worries surrounding energy drinks. That said, Red Bull is banned in multiple countries so it is likely that only a few countries will ever see this drink.

This is nothing but a total rip-off.

This is a video from some Final Fantasy potion commercial:

At least that's an official product...

It's neither affiliated with Blizzard nor is it really a WoW theme. I'm going to change the title of the article because it's not really WoW-related other than the fact it's an energy drink called "Mana Potion" and there are Mana Potions in the game.

All products are rip-offs in some form, and since when is a ripoff so terrible?

WoW is a ripoff of most MMORPG's, but look at its success. Most people cannot tell me that they never sat in their MMO and wished that some other MMO had the workings of their current one, but better. "Rip-offs" in some forms present that to you.

ALl i know is if this thing tastes good, and isnt $10 a bottle, then whats the problem?

It's not even a rip-off, its' just a general term for a system that uses magic and what it's cost. It's in many RPGs, too many to count... It's just some stupid company trying to capitalize their crappy drink on the obessive hardcore gamers

    I agree, where's your source?

Also, like Kody said, this isn't really WoW themed.

Now that I've had a chance to see the real site, I think I'll stick with Monster for now. While I would definitely like to try one, the price for shipping is a little much. If they started selling at a nearby gas station or something, I'd definitely pick one up.

I don't know, maybe if I have a little cash leftover after the bills this month...
