Wrath of the Lich King Release Date "Soon"?

Nethaera recently posted over at the official World of Warcraft forums that they "have an idea" about when the release date of Wrath of the Lich King will be. When do you think it will be? Based on everything we've heard so far, it's likely to come somewhere in November or December this year.

We have an idea and we'll be announcing a date once everything is in place for it. :)

    We were told Nov 4th from the Game Stop people. Not sure how true that is though.

    EB-games in Denmark have a official date for Wrath of the lick King. 30. December. Also next year ( Januar )

    Never believe what u are told with these games. Hopefully the wait time will be worth the wait even if the game dont come out till the new year. remember beta just started not to long ago..

    I wouldn't put too much store in the dates retail outlets are advertising. They're best-guessing along with the rest of us at the moment. ;)

    Given that 3.0 isn't on the PTR yet and considering the amount of balancing of classes and content for the actual expansion that is inferred by the regular blue beta posts, I reckon it's a couple of months off yet. From a commercial point of view, I'm sure Blizzard would love to see it out in time for "the holidays" (i.e. middle-end part of November), but as ever they'll sit on it until it's solid.

    When they eventually announce details of the collector's edition pack (assuming there will be one again), we'll know the date won't be far off then!

    fourth-quarter 2008 if possible, but they will delay if they have to. Makes sense?

    When a store sets a release date on the game it's because they have too !
    They aren't allowede to sell items without a release date on it .
    I once was on a site setting release date to the 10th of July this year and have been pushing it a month every month since .
    So it's just because they have to .

    As fare as my guess is :
    November - last week before December .
    That's when it ships !

    they have a lot to work out by december if they do that.. I am on the beta and trust me it is still very very very much a BETA..

    Bart smit a store in Netherlands has it dated november 30th
